I would like to buy an AVR and 5.1 speakers ... my budget is around 40K. Usage is 60% music and 40% movie! What shud be my set up?

Try some packages displayed in major brand stores like ezone, hypercity,totalmall etc....

There are some yamaha+jamo,onkyo , denon packages available in that budget.

at that price why dont you look at a stereo set up. you will get much better sound quality

What afj said.... u can always get center and surround speakers later, thus making it a better 5.1 setup.
