I’m looking to set up a dedicated space for recording and could use some advice. I want a room that minimizes echo and background noise while staying comfortable for long sessions.

I’ve been researching podcast rooms and the best approaches for soundproofing, mic placement, acoustic panels, and lighting for video recording. Does anyone have experience designing their own setup?

What worked best for you regarding layout and equipment? Are there common mistakes I should avoid?
