hi ,

planning to build new home in my native.. decided to build seperate room for stereo listening.. which size will be best ? i dont need bigger room.. smaller to medium sized room.. preferebly , 11 * 16 or 11* 17 or 10 * 11 is in my mind.. does it will be better ? or like 12 * 16 or 14 * 16 will do better because of wider listening side ?

mostly i will settled with midrange amplifier ( 60 - 80 watts) and tower speaker ( 6 inch woofers )..

thanks

wider room improve sound stage, better than 11 x 17 room..
My room is 11 x 16. and speaker gap between 6 or may be 6.3 ft but the problem is when i listen any kind of live aurcestra or live performance music the sound stage stuck with this 10 or 11 ft. wide boundary.. any causal music or flim music this is ok with me..

Height also matters.. two dimensions shouldn't be same.
