I helped my dad set up a home theatre a couple years back. He switched from an Energy RC-mini 6.1 setup to a Kef Q700 / Kef Q100 / Kef Q600c center / Kef Q400b subwoofer. He's using a Pioneer 1325-K receiver.

Just assume everything else is more than adequate (but there's no other audio pieces in the mix, leaving the bluray player and etc out of consideration).

The unfortunate thing about the setup is that the RC-minis probably were better suited to the room.

Speaker placement unfortunately cannot be improved either, and that has been a bit of an issue (the room is nicely sized, but the way the layout is... it's not ideal).

I'm wondering if there's any sort of extra amplification or anything that will add improved sound dynamics to the room or anything through improving the front speakers or what.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
