hello
I have denon 2310. I am using front A and rear surround back for biamping. My problem is this when i choose 5 channel stereo mode ( or any other 5 channel mode) front speaker mutes. no sound from front speakers. when playing in 2 ch stereo mode denon display shows FL,FR - A. But when i change 2 ch mode to 5 ch mode configuration automatically changes to FL FR - B. which inturn are not connected so no sound from fronts.
so my question is- Is it possible to use 5 channel mode while fronts being biamped. If it is possible what i am missing. I have run audyssey auto setting but problem persist.

it works fine in my yamaha 663. should work for you too. check the manual. looks like some setting is not correct.

Denon AVRs have a setting under the 'audio setup' menu in the "manual setup" to specify which speakers to use for stereo. The AVR lets you use different pair of front speakers for HT and two channel music. To make life easier for such users it allows you to set it once and switches automatically. I think you have specified that you want to use the B pair for Stereo and Direct modes. Check it out.

Thanks,

Hi Rahul,

Did the above solution work for you? I think that is what you have set wrongly.
Please do confirm.

You posted a question and within a few hours declared that this forum is of no help. At least confirm if I hit the nail on the head or not in identifying the exact issue. At least we all will learn from your problem.

Thanks,
Sharad
