This is supposed to be a 'solderless' design.
Essentially the signal passes through copper all the way - no tin at all [solder] !
The Material of the Cable & that of the Connector is identical.
It has been installed in my set up & is being played;
Initial impression is +ve.
Lots of front to back 'separation' [to my ears at least] !

Porting the hand made design into the MayflowerTM structure has resulted in many new advantages.

The ultra Pure Copper wire strands are drawn through a diamond die, in a vacuum, to deliver a flawless circular surface.

The smoothness of the surface enables accurate delivery of high frequency music and precise stereo imaging.

Solid core conductors for the signal wires enable high current carrying capacity delivering ultra fast transients, energy in the bass and a relaxed sense of involvement with the performance space. The return to signal ratio for single ended is 1:1; with the central ground multifilar acting as a massive ground shunt anchoring the drain and shield wires into the source end. This enables an extremely quiet background.

For balanced configuration the multifilar ground shunt acts as the return through the circuit and this enables an equally quiet background for balanced listening, with the signal wires maintaining their 1:1 ratio for the hot and cold. Wire purity is >99.998% Pure Copper.

All MayflowerTM cables are terminated with Bocchino Audio Pure Copper connectors.
For the RCA The Illuminator: B25 lockable is employed, all Pure Copper, Silver plated.

For balanced Bocchino Audio R9 BAXLR, employing pure copper, silver plated pins.
MayflowerTM will deliver superb musical performance from your first listen and improve with time.
Break in period at 40 hrs will see it deliver nearly most of its full performance.

From there it just gets better. MayflowerTM takes a back seat while you delight in your musical collection.

To be very frank about it, cables are very very personal.
1 cable may work in 1 set up & may not in another;
Essentially, they have to be purchased / borrowed & tried.
If one likes & it suits your set up - keep it - else change & try another...

I have got this Cable to replace a Bertram Proxima [excellent cable] that I sold & was using an Audiaz in its place - Silver.
This Bocchino Mayflower has replaced that cable & seems to be performing well...
