I remember seeing a pair of Quads at City Elec. in Sim lim sq. cant recall exact model..it was probably 11L2 (or 11L1), was quoted around 899.

PSB is available at Alpha Audio the very next shop to City Electronics, did not check the Image B6, but Alpha B1 was around 350. Not sure if you'll be able to figure out the price by comparing the models' india prices.

899 SGD is almost equal to, infact a little more than the price of Quad 11L2 in India so it may make sense to buy it here.

For PSB Image B6 is it possible for you ask them for price just incase if you happen to call them or visit them anytime ? I think PSB is cheaper in Spore as compared to India so this info can be very helpful

I have to mention this...my memory could be a culprit here....coz i enquired quite a while back (> 1 year). Moreover those were not on my shortlist. So it could well have been the price of a higher model. Also another thing is, one could bargain at SLS when intend to buy. In some cases can bargain upto 10-15%. Not sure if GST redeem( around 7%) apply for spkrs. I know it works for other things like TV. May be someone taken this route before can help out here.

Hi Naren,

I happened to be in that part of the town today and inquired the price for Image B6 at alpha audio in Adelphi. The price quoted was 600/- They didn't have it in display; mentioned that they can get it if needed.

Depends. If the quoted price is way above UK/US prices, then you could give it a go.

Good news is Alpha audio has shops at both Sim Lim and Adelphi. Sim lim prices might be marginally better.

Adelphi is at 1 coleman street, near City Hall MRT, Sim Lim is at Bugis by North Bridge Road
