Bookshelves or Monitors?

I posted this but i cant find it!

Anyway,
What should i go for? my budget is around 30K. i use 256kbps music. room size 10' by 10'. Speakers placed pretty close to me. I want to enjoy the music.

Active monitors - Adam A5X
Bookshelves - A5, others.

The best stereo receiver you can get for 15k + Wharf 9.2

Overall, these may be better, in terms of bass etc.

But the A5X may be more detailed and stuff.
