I am using this combination of Bose companion 2.0 speaker with my sony lcd tv since 4 yrs. It is very good and I connected using the RCA out of the TV to the bose and made the changes in sound settings of TV to output only to the external speakers. The sound is very good. Go ahead and connect it and make sure to use the settings which I specified so that your TV sound is completely switched off and only the Bose speakers give you the sound.

I remember one of my reative using companion series 2.1 speakers with LED TV, not bad for 25K but most of the time they have to run it at full volume even if their viewing distance is 5 feet.

any 2.1 speakers can be used...go ahead...
either RCA out or direct headphone jack...and make the spekers at 90% full volume permanant..contrl by stb remote volume control...and what manni said external speakers selection...
I used this for a long time(off course not bose hehe) before buying htib....
I dont know ur spkr connectivity if it has RCA in very good....if spkrs has only 3.5 jack in..and ur tv do not have headphone jack hole...then u will need a 50 Rs male RCA to 3.5 female 3.5 jack......

I use my Bose companion 2.0 brought in 2007 for $79 during the Thanks giving sale. I keep the sound vol nob at 9 o'clock position and the sound is filling my living room sitting at a distance of close to 10 ft. But for 25k it is too high a price to pay for the sound of the TV which somebody might have brought it for around 40 to 50k.

I would suggest the audio engine A5 instead of the bose companion.

AT +/-25K onk/yam/deono entry level htibs are also avilable.......can be an option too

yes you can. you can look at Companion 3 (discontinued but still available) or Companion 5. but beware that these sound good only in nearfield.

i would suggest going in for Cinemate series instead.....

I have used bose companion 3 with my STB out using RCA to 3.5 Jack . The SQ is very nice when you watch Movies now and some of the channels like DW tv . But when you watch local channels,. the commercial breaks kills you
