I want purchase Bose home theater 5.1 channel but the coat of same is very high kindly suggest me winch home theater will produce sound quality as good as bose home theaters my budget 50 k i am interested to purchase the same from grey market in Ahmedabad Gujrat can anybody tel me grey market adress in Ahmedabad

Yes. Cost of Bose are coated only. In our country, common people who thinks of an Audio system will think only Sony, Philips, Panasonic, Sanyo.... and there is a persception that the Brand BOSE is meant for High class or High Middle class only. This was true to some extent when there was no Brands like Denon, Marantz, Yamaha, etc., etc And for most of the People still Yamaha means either a Motorcycle or a Music Keyboard and BOSE means Hi-end Music

as i see this is your first post. i would suggest you to delay your purchase and go through this forum for some time. then bose might not be in your list all together.

Welcome Alok, first Bose will not sell in the gray market, if it does, it is some cheap chinese copy or a scam.

Spend some time in the forum, you will come out of the Bose marketing gimmick. There are much better choice today with much lesser money.

Still, if you have serious space constraints and want to go for small cubes, consider Boston Acoustics Soundware XS.

Go for cambridge audio minx speakers, I have auditioned and found better than Bose in every aspects.

there are 3 options availabe choose based on your budget

As others suggested,
You can get Boston acoustics XS for 24K + an AVR for 20 to 25K K(Marantz/Pioneer/HK) , 3K for installation and you will be good.

Other option is get Boston acoustics floor stander + an entry AVR.

I have auditioned both above & are very good combinations.

Please do not get biased by Bose haters. Other Brands in the market are also robbing us equally.

Bose sale directly through their own shops and hence traders in the market are not getting any cut and so the haters.

Dear Alok,
whatever forum members have written till now holds good. to add to that, the main difference in all home theaters is subwoofer. to have that shaky earthquake feeling you need to have better sub. Please choose the same carefully and rest of the gear you wont find much difference between similarly priced systems. and make sure you dig deeper on internet to get the BHOOT of Bose out from your mind...try searching..myth of Bose...

In my experiece BOSE doesn't hit GREY market as they're non profitable :-D

Try looking into entry level Yamaha AVR & audition with JBL speakers!!
