Bose Music amplifier and matching speakers

I am going to buy a Bose Music amplifier 125 watts at 8 ohms, which speaker set I should use for the best result{ not planning to buy Bose speakers}

Why the Bose amplifier? There are so many other good amplifiers that do the same or more for much lesser cost. Any particular reason to choose the Bose Amp?
