9.2 is better & it sounded good with even Yamaha amp.

Hi,
Since 10.2 has rear ports, it may not be easy for near wall placements. So 9.2 is safer choice. Since you didn't notice difference between 9.2 and 10.2, all the more reason 9.2 should be preferred.
BTW do auditon the Norge Millenium speakers if possible. May be they are as good as 9.2, but at a lesser price... (Some members have found them to be good all rounders ... bass to treble to clarity)
