Buzzing sound from receiver

This is in regards to Sony HT-IV300 home theatre system. I have been using it for 8 years. Recently there is a loud, buzzing noise from the receiver. It persists for 30-60 seconds. It is usually triggered by a high bass sound (most consistently by ads on Sony SAB HD). The sound gets very bass heavy and seems unbalanced.

Has anyone else faced a similar issue? Any solution?

Few things you can try and check:
1) unplug all speakers and check, if the same video passage is ok now, then connect speakers one by one
2) how does the buzzing stop, automatically after 30-60 sec?
3) this happens irrespective of the AVR being run for sometime?
4) can you try few bass heavy tracks from YouTube and see?

2. It just stops. I don’t have to do anything.
3. It usually happens after some time.

It sounds like a power supply problem. You may want to get your system checked up.
