Cable tv connection to HD TV

Hi All,

I'm new here and would greatly appreciate some help.

I use a free to air cable tv connection, and is not not through a set top box. The output is a single coaxial cable. I recently changed my earlier tv to a HD LCD TV - Phillips 32PFL5306/V7, which has only the folowing inputs - antenna, component, HDMI, and RCA's.

It doesnt work through the antenna connection.

Is there any adaptor or converter I need to get to connect the single cable tv output to the TV.

it should be working through the antenna.

did you try scanning ?
