Can I use my AVR as for Karaoke?

I have a beginner question. I own Yamaha RXV-473 with Wharfedale speakers. Is there a way by which I can connect Karaoke Mic?

Not directly. You will need a preamp . There are similar threads in this forum that you can search or google. I haven't used one though.
