Just wanted to share my new beginner desktop Hi-Fi journey. I am coming from a stereo pair of amazon Echo 4th gen. My goal was to achieve maximum clarity for lossless streaming (Apple Music-Dolby-Off/Spotify lossless) while dealing with a small desk space. The core of the system is built on the Beelink Mini PC USB to SMSL SU1 DAC feeding a Fosi Audio V3 amplifier, which drives a pair of Mission LX1 MKII bookshelf speakers. SU1 DAC (unboxed) costed 7k on headphone zone. Fosi audio V3 amplifier costed 8k on amazon. Mission Lx1 MKII costed 16k from VPLAK. Cables: Fosi audio RCA to RAC 1.5k, Fdealz banana plugs and Fedus 14 AWG speaker wire both @ 1.5k. total setup 34k.
Next experiment is adding JBL LSR310S subwoofer (25k rs), planning to connect SU1 DAC to JBL using RCA to XLR cable and then let the JBL feed signal (stripped of 80Hz) to Fosi V3 through JBL out- XLR to RCA cable. Hoping that Mission speakers 4 inch driver has more freedom to play above 80Hz signal. As I am new to this, kindly let me know is there any flaw in this experiment.
