Car stereo like device

Hi Folks,
It might sound little odd but is there any device like car stereo available in market for home use which I can hook to bookself, Play music from USB and able to navigate through folder structure and files as we do in car stereo.
If I can find any device like this its going to replace three device(display unit, amp and media player) and it may be economical also.

you need to buy actual car cd player and not 'something like it'. Use it with 12v 10amp transformer. I have done that experiment. Was not very happy with result. Was adequately love but was boomy and lacked refinement. So i am sticking to home hifi. I had used pioneer cd player with USB Slot.

I still have BLAU car cassette player in my rack. Using only to play old audio cassettes. I don't buy any new cassette now. It has nice mechanism and auto reverse feature, still using preout for that player to feed my preamp-selector. Its good it have dolby noise reduction still I use separate tuner for AM/FM.
IMO-Separate/dedicated components sound better than those car stereo.

A sperate component is always good in terms of quality but we need to have three units(amp+ player+screen to browse songs and folders) and the car stereo has got all in one and sound quality is also reasonable good for small rooms. I'm surpised that why not any brand has launched such product so far. It will be definely good solution in low budget.

Anyone here to take this Business Idea?

I am using philips MCD 177. Stereo, dvd player with progressive scan, 20w rms/ch amp, tuner. Everything is in one unit(except for speakers). I am very much satisfied with sound and picture quality.
It is car stereo like in the sense that it needs 24v DC 2.7A adapter(comes with the package).

I am not getting what kind of screen you are looking for. It has typical dvdp screen. However browsing through folders is not possible.

Recently i saw some sony model. Was all in one kind of thing(dvd,cassette,tuner,amplifier) with insane power. It was not like those typical 5.1 home theatre receivers. It had a 7" lcd Screen on main unit. It was very useful feature for browsing. The cost was about 25k. Didnt like the sound quality. Typical bloated bass.

I am not getting what kind of screen you are looking for. It has typical dvdp screen. However browsing through folders is not possible.

There are some mini and macro hifi systems available but I'didn't find any with screen where I can navigate through the song folders and even the song name and to achieve this most of the devices need a tv screen to do that. Here I'm talking about a budget device whch could cost <10K(similar to car audio head unit)

How about budget ipod dock ? you can navigate through songs/folders/playlists. It is compact, you can take it anywhere you want. And some ipod docks have inbuilt li-on batteries, so that you can enjoy your music even during power cuts. Only pre requisite is 'ipod' .

Yes something like this I was talking but its quite costly.
