I have a Nakamichi cassette deck which needs a bit if servicing. Just wanted to know if any of you can suggest a good technician in Mumbai who can service Nak decs?
I have already spoken to Mr Paul mentioned in this thread. Unfortunately he has stopped handling cassette decks.

Guyz, apologies for bumping an old thread.

I am still looking for a reliable technician to service my Nakamichi cassette deck. I believe only the pinch roller has to be replaced. Just wanted to know if any of you can suggest a good technician in Mumbai who can service cassette decs?

Would suggest visiting Grant Road (Lamington Road) first to check rather than carrying the deck in the rains. If its a matter of just a pinch roller it should not take more than 1-2 hours to open and replace. The exact timeline can only be confirmed by the technician you find. You will need to ask around. Call Paul and check if he can suggest someone there or closer to where you reside.

Thanks bro for your suggestion. I think its a good idea to visit Grant Road. I will do that in one of the weekends. Unfortunately Paul was not able to recommend anyone when I checked with him.
