Here is an economical alternative to chromecast audio. Add a HDMI to VGA converter which has 3.5 out.

Effective cost Rs.149 HDMI to VGA + Rs.49 HDMI female to female + old chromecast or cheaper ones priced at Rs.1000 available too.

Trust me, the 3.5 out of the VGA converter is absolute stereo.

A nice find, how is the music quality?

Music quality is as is supposed to be from a chromecast, meaning it can stream up to 96KHz/24bit lossless. Also depends on which music format you are streaming... I have ripped my CD's to an old mobile in wav. and streaming with Symfonium. Hope it helps

Let me know which part you want me to expand. Component wise... Google Chromecast HDMI out > HDMI female to female adopter > HDMI to VGA converter > 3.5 out from the VGA converter > amplifier. Hope that helps
