The band has a few friends of mine who have been active in the Hyderabad band scene for years. NILE is a band that performs a variety of classic western music of different genres mostly jazz, blues and classic rock.

For those interested in being part of the Hyderabad Western Music Foundation here is the link to the facebook page. HWMF conducts and organizes a variety of live performances including inviting quality acts from out of town. The facebook page has all the info you need on upcoming performances. Yes they are pretty good. If you are interested they are conducting what is called the "Listening Post" every 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at Lamakaan, Banjara Hills. Timings are 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. These are basically jazz listening sessions aimed at educating enthusiasts on jazz music. Attendance has been pretty good so far.
