Would it be ok if i connected a Jamo E 8CEN.2 center speaker to my Denon X540BT receiver? The speaker specifications at the back say 140W/200W @ 6 ohms for long and short term whereas my Denon supports 90W, and 130W @ 6 ohms.

I'm not expecting to drive it to it's full potential. Just want to know if it is safe to connect and test for a couple of days before i decide on getting a center speaker to go with the rest of my Polk set up.

The jamo belongs to my cousin and i will have it for a couple of days.

That is speaker power handling capacity..

Yes.. You can comfortably use the center speaker with Denon AVR.. The speaker is 88dB efficient.. So, shouldn't be an issue..

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
