Hi all,

Delighted to be part of this community and very appreciative of all the inputs this community has provided to clear lot of my doubts over the years. Hope to get a solution for my latest conundrum too.

I have the following components:
Marantz NR1510
Audiolab - 9000q (recently replaced 6000a)+8300xp
Speaker (L&R, mains) - Wharfedale Linton
Subwoofers (2) - SVS SB1000

Current set-up:
My main speakers and subs are connected to the 8300xp.
Surrounds and CS connected to AVR.

My query:

How do I connect my AVR and 9000q to the subs so that I can use it for HT and stereo listening?

After doing lot of research have come across 2 possible solutions:
1) Use RCA switch as suggested by SVS-
can run the subwoofer outputs from the Marantz AVR into the switch for one input and then the pre outs from your stereo system into another set of inputs on that switch. From there, you'd want to run outputs from that switch to feed both subs. This would just let you select which amp is going to be sending a signal to the subwoofers.

You'll want the low pass filter on the subwoofers turned off when using the Marantz. It should say "OFF (LFE MODE ACTIVE)" in the SVS app. When using your stereo system which just has full range outputs, you'll need to use the low pass filter on the subwoofers so it should say "ON (LFE MODE DISABLED)".
Not so keen to add one more component and would like to avoid if possible. But if this is the only option pls recommend RCA switch with remote.

2) As recommended in one of the forums and Google: Connect the pre-amp (L/R pre-out to low level in) and the AVR (LFE out to LFE in)directly to the sub. My query and prefered solution: in HT Bypass what happens when both AVR and Pre-amp send signal to the subs?

Thanks in advance
