connecting z5500

hi.....i just bought logi...z5500 and asus xonar d2x sound card to go with it.....i was just wondering wht would b the best option to connect with these two.....
d2x have spdif output......
z5500 have coax and optical input.....

I think analog 5.1 would be best as the d2x dac would be vast superior to the crapppy one in Z5500 or so I heard.
