Planning to buy a Dali Zensor 5 floorstanders along with AV receiver pioneer VSX-921-K. Music range is 50 % Rock, 40 % pop and 10 ghazals.

alternative Whaferdale diamond 9.5 with same Pioneer VSX 921 k.

If your usage is pure stereo (music) then don't buy the AV-Receiver, instead go for Integrated 2Ch amplifier . Like Marantz PM7004 or NAD

Did you get a quote for Dali Zensor 5 tower speakers?
I do have a quote for dali zensor speakers. I want to set up a HT system.

2 Sali Zensor 1 : rs 18000
3 Dali Zensor Vokal: rs 16500
4 Dali Sub 12 : rs 37800
5 Yamaha Rxv 473 : rs 37490

What do you think about the quote? I auditioned Dali Zensor 7 thats 1.2 lakhs a pair. Amazing experience.

Zensor 5 after discount is 34k. Zensor 7 - 1.2 lac is not correct. exagarrated by the dealer by more than half I suppose. Pl. check with another dealer

Zensor 5 / 7 are very good and affordable. Wharf are no match to them. Use integrated amp to make the speakers alive but not AV receiver.

Look for a Marantz or Cambridge Audio receiver instead and you are all set.

A little late for this question, but can u tell me where are u getting Dali Zensor 5 (Pair of floorstanders) for 34k only. I am getting the same at 50k after discount.

If you listen more music then go for stereo system, for movie Denon AVR is better.

The price quote seems to be of yr 2012. Prices currently are around 48k in hyd

Yes this old thread has been bumped up for some reason. The prices are 2 year old prices
I recently picked up Dali Zensor 7s.
In Mumbai, the Zensor 5s have MRP of 55k and Zensor 7s 69k
Depending on the dealers, you can get between 10-12% off that price

So Dali Zensor 5s should be around 50k mark
