Hi I asked a friend of mine to get Arcam RDAC from UK, he suggests the following :

From a practical perspective, very expensive dedicated DACs are generally discouraged because, most new generation AMPs alreadey come with MP3 audio enhancement built in...( This is true...For example, my Denon AVR 1910 has an integrated DAC that automatically enhances MP3 audio from PC or USB and has many options and controls for the same..)
On the Laptop or on the Move, DACs are far more useful....Like the Creative USB X-Fi ( I have one with me here) or Fiio E7 USB DAC"
Should I go for a portable one instead of the arcam rDAC? If so can you suggest some good brands aside from Fiio? By the way my current AVR and speakers are mentioned in my sig(below) so I know they are not top of the line so maybe I need to purchase a new amp and some good speakers... or otherwise I can purchase something like Fiio and connect good headphones and listen..
Please suggest.
