Denon 1613 Network receiver & Air play

Hi

Is Receiver like Denon 1613 useful in india ? Also is Air play useful for any other app other than IPAD /IPOD. This one is priced at 25 k in mumbai and is this a deal ?

If you have IPAD /I Phone then its very useful. If you are buying from USA you need a step down voltage converter. Denon 1613 is USA model. If you want to use it in India better buy Denon AVR-1612.

I think it's a good deal...it is made for iphone/ipad/ipod with usb plugin. Also it is a netwoek receiver. Can you plz tell from where exactly you are getting this deal in Mumbai because I feel this is a very good deal.

The other model available in India with Airplay is AVR 1713. AVR 1513 does not support airplay.

Rupam, What has been your experience with airplay - when power goes on and off? Does Airplay continue from where it stopped or does it pause and you have to restart it?
