It has announced this years xx12 series....of AV Recievers
2312
3312 and there s a new one 2112

1.Air Play (As expected)
2. Network Capability (As expected)
3. Denon IN-Command Series Feature

are the new features...

2312 and 3312 wd be cheaper by 100 and 200 $$ respectively....compared to 2311 n 3311

Indian Markets....They will be launched in June 11...in US itself..... so its gonna take time for dem to reach here.... Its not like AVATAR Worldwide release...on a single day....

2112 is a good news indeed. I hope it will be marginally above 1911 in price. That will bring internet radio affordable for many.

Not to throw a dampner in the works, I wonder if the prices are going to be 100 dollars or so cheaper than previous year models, wonder where the compromise is?

People are more excited by the features like Airplay (Seriously I don't know what it does) or Ipod connectivity whereas the first thing I would look for in an amp would be build quality, connectivity options (More analogues etc, because it is one thing which you can connect without any problems and it will work too) and transformer weight, voltage rails, power ratings etc.

The question whether old model prices would be reduced when the new models arrive can put a brake on those who plan to purchase the old models.

Or is it just a wishful thinking only ?

Same wonder here....

Airplay is nothing more than apple's version of Dlna ... Now how many of us really use that feature ? At least not the true audiophiles who r so conscious about quality of sound... Usually Network Streaming audio/video can never beat the quality of direct attached....

Denon is promoting HD radio !!! Wooow another decade for us to get there...even if we did how many of us truely listen to it on a HT....

Somehow for me it looks like the new series is nothing more than a marketing gimmic for partnening with apple!!!!!
