Desperately looking for a 40+ inch TV in Mumbai - Budget max 55K

Hi all,

Looking at buying a 40+ inch TV, no preference for LCD, LED or Plasma. Price budget is strictly 55K.

Looked @ LG 42LV5500, letsbuy.com is offering 59160/- (after Rs. 1200 discount).

Any other suggestions regarding which TV and best price for the same would be great.

I would recommend samsung 40D550... retails between 45-50k here in Bangalore. I found a 40C550 recently at ezone for 40k

Try Panasonic as new models are being launched so older sold at good discount

Mine is Sony 40EX400 - which I had bought for 55k might have come down.
If you want 100Hz try the 40EX503

3 models which fit my specs - LED, 40 inch, price approx 55-60K, internet connectivity, hard disk support
1) Sony - 40EX520
2) LG - 42LV5500 (Vijay Sales price is 60K)
3) Samsung - 40D5500RR

Please suggest which one is best and also if someone can tell me about prices for Sony 40EX520 and Samsung 40D5500RR. I guess the price for LG model is the most competetive quote in Mumbai...

Croma is giving 42V20D plasma (best of 2010) for 52 or 53k , buy extended warranty for 3 years another 3k. Total 55k you have an awesome TV insured for 3 years.

57k price for 40D5500 is the best i have heard.
Also go check the grey market for sony and samsung it could be priced around less then 50k.
samsung 40D5000 should cost about 40k as per one user here and the Sony 40EX520 cost 45k.

Try Croma, as they still have few pieces left, U'll get the best plasma V20 with 1year full warranty + 2 years warranty on panel and try to bargain hard u;ll get extended warranty for Rs 2000/- for V20 for next 2 years and that will be a full warranty covering everything except physical damage...

V20: Around 52K
E Warranty: 2K
Total: 54k:clapping:

Just forget 3D, LED, LCD, 100Hz, etc
Go for V20 if u can and than enjoy the Nirvana.....:yahoo:

So much of Plasma buzz.. has made me notice them. Just browsing the net I saw there is a huge price differential between 42V20 and 42X20. Any specific reason why.

Finally, after much speculation and hunting - bought LG 42LV5500 for 58K in Mumbai. Also bought the wifi dongle for Rs. 1690. Delivery expected in 2-3 days.

Any reviews about using internet via the LG Android app.
