Digicable and cable operator issue

Hi Folks,

In my area the cable provider gives Digicable NW and I see that their SD transmission is quite bad when compared to Hathway and also the number of channels they provide are very less. They do not have new Discovery channels or ahve add any new channels that Hathway has provided in the past 6 months or so.
1. Anyone in Bangalore uses Digicabe NW? if yes, do you have their contact number?
2. Is there a way to stop the monopoly of the local cable operator from giving cable service of another NW like HW. The reason I ask is, in the next street there is Hathway cable and the local cable operator has a nexus that they will not enter the area already marked for them. This is a definite monopoly where we (as consumers) do not have choice other than DTH.

3. Also the service of this existing cable operator is extremely bad, frequent outages, and signal is bad resulting is bad picture quality.

I am comparing with Hathway, because I was getting hathway in my old location and had a very good experience with them. Unfortunately, there is no contact of Digicable in bangalore to talk to them and get first hand information. If anyone in Bangalore has it pls provide their contact info.

This arrangement is unfortunately won after some bloodshed and GoondaGiri on the cable operators part. I doubt if you can wave a few measly 100 bucks under somebody's nose and demand your consumer rights.

But you should walk in to the Hathway office and ask if they will have any problem in pulling a cable into your house.
