Bought an Adcom GFA 535 MKII power amplifier, it landed with out power cable.

Decided to do a diy cost effective power cable.
My options are Havels ASCA and Cryo IEC copper power plug with 2.5 mm sq solid copper wire.
Twisted the cables and put a transparent heat shrink to hold it and added a sleeve to hod the cable ends for strain relief when using plugs. Silver tined the tips.

In order to have a better contact surface, hammered the solid wire to flat.

The power plug is very good quality and all brass contact and screws.


Fastened wires to the plug.
soldered both sides of the cable to plug and ring terminal. Made one more cable for the DAC, so that I shall have uniform signature.
Connected the IEC connector. Here is the fully made cables
