I connected my PC digital out to ONKYO HTSS3300 digital audio coax. Selected digital audio as coax for BD/DVD. But no sound!

Also, tried the same on TV/CD. Still no luck.

PC screen shows that the digital sound device is working. I don't have HDMI on my PC. I use DVI to connect directly to TV. I get sound through TV speakers by connecting PC's analog sterio out to TV.

Any idea how to get the digital sound through HT-S3300?

It turned out that even the analog out from PC connected to a HT-S3300 analog in does not work. Same cable when connect to TV audio in works.

You need to configure the output setting in your sound control panel from you computer. If everything fails, try to update sound drivers.

Go to control panel > sound > Properties of speaker.

I am not connecting the speaker out. I am connecting the digital coaxial out to ONKYO HT-S3300 home theater system's digital coaxial input. There is no speaker setting on the Digital output device of the computer.

I think it is a ONKYO issue.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
