Dishtv Second Connection.

Dear Experts,

I have Dishtv truHD receiver at home. Now I bought second tv .

I want to extended connection to second tv.

can it be possible ? dishtv people said buy second receiver etc etc.

You can do the following

1. Call the technician and have a Dual LNB installed in your Dish Reflector so that it can send out two connections instead of one. Channel the 2nd connection to your 2nd TV and on need basis switch the Set Top Box back and forth between the two TVs

2. OR, If you want to run both TVs simultaneously with separate channels then there is no way to achieve with one STB, rather you have to buy a 2nd dish connection and opt for multiroom policy at half the price of the first connection (same package). This you have to do at the time of filling up the Customer Application Form (CAF) when the new connection arrives or else your 2nd connection will be separate at same price of first connection.

How many TVs can be connected through a single dishtv receiver?

technically it can be upto 3 or 4 i think that happens in shops or other commercial location. But you have to pay charges (one time and monthly) for individual set top boxes and their plans
