A DIY vinyl rack based on a design I saw on a website. The prototype had to be sent back twice to the carpenter as I was unhappy with the quality of work and his failure to adhere to my design. (What is it with carpenters/plumbers who always think they know everything and still get basic things wrong?)
Would Delhi-based FMs with vinyl collections be interested in this?

very nice.

I had something like this many years ago, when I actually had an LP collection.

Some practical advice based on my experience.:

the LPs at the end can tend to warp in this design because of pressure of all the other LPs in front. one thing you might consider doing is rotating the LPs at the end. or putting section(s)"in between which would distribute the wt.

of course this is a long time ago and my LPs were already old... so take this with a pinch of salt!

I would suggest add some rods to separate group of 10 LPs (~2Kg) each from each other. That would avoid any load on innermost LPs. Just like dish dryer.
