Recently I got a pair of MEMT X5 and Swing IE800. Earlier I got a pair of Rock Zircon and TIN Audio T515. The funny thing is that out of all these, the treble is a tad sharper on the Swings. But I swear that after listening for about 30-40 minutes, the Swings seem just fine. And when I switch to another pair for a couple of days and come back to the Swings, then, again, they seem a bit sibilant, and again, they seem just fine after half an hour of listening. Can't decide if my ears are adjusting, acting as equalizers, or they are just getting used to the sibilance.

I think this has more to do with the ears getting used to during the initial 30-40 minutes. Fletcher munson curves are a different topic alltogather.
