Is there any DVD player which can play DVDs on to a TV screen as well as can be accessed from a computer and play DVDs on to the computer monitor? If yes please suggest the make & model.

Hi,

You can connect DVD to PC thruogh TV tuner card.

I have Avermedia TV tuner card.I have tried connecting DVD player
with av in of TV tuner.It works.You can connect any DVD player on PC
this way.

Only problem you cannot connect TV & PC at d same time.
You can try cable splitters ,but picture quality may become poor.

So try this, it works

I was wondering whether it is possible to connect the DVD player directly via hdmi to DVI in of the monitor ! . It is definitely worth a shot I think !

I know component-DVI connecters.Dont know HDMI to DVI.
IT men will do it soon.

You get DVI- HDMI adaptors. I personally have two of them . It can be used for DVI to HDMI connections.

I know,but I think adapter or PC cards are not available.
I have also asked you abt DV388 in ohter other post pls answer.

Yeh,
I have seen Viewsonic monitors with DVI input.But what abt sound?
Real HDMI carries both,then sound can be input through soundcard
input(may be onboard).
