Ear worm/Song stuck in my head

Hi,
There are many days when i wake up in the morning and there is song stuck in my head. My wife has to bear the brunt of it as i almost get up singing the song and i am not the greatest singer to put it mildly

It continues to play in my head at least the 1st half of the day. Sometimes i listen to the track on youtube to just refresh it. Many a times its not even my favourite track just something i have heard in the past. Had read somewhere that its called an ear worm??

Good initiative, for last 2 weeks the "E tumi kemon tumi" song from Bengali movie Jatishwar (for which music director Sumon got National Award and siinger Rupankar got best male playback singer National award) is literally stuck in my head.

I mostly wake with "something" playing "in my head". Luckily most often it's a nice song, besides I don't get up actually singing it :lol:

My first thought was it's kind of a dream of something I heard recently. But that thought was washed away when I started waking up with my dad's favorite tunes playing in my head. Weird

My cure includes listening to the track on whatever system I have most easily accessible to me that morning.
