Hi all!
Im looking to do a 'basic' music upgrade for my desktop.
To that end I have decided to go for sound card & speaker upgrade instead of just speakers.
Now my budget is very limited ~6k
Now, sound card selected - ASUS Xonar DG
I came to find these - EDIFIER R1600T PLUS | eBay
They attract me for some reasons:
- price of course
- bookshelves
- elegant as compared to 2.1s (no big cube)
- edifier has a good name for music.
What do u guys think? Has anyone listened to these?
I have no way of auditioning these in my city Lucknow. Guess I will have to buy them on a hunch!
On the same note, someone claimed on this forum that Edifier is a Chinese brand whereas I know them to be Canadian. Can anyone confirm?
