Penance only in that I have to painstakingly brush all the hair out of the devices when I'm done But no, it's not a religious thing. I had a brush-cut phase, then a waist-length phase. Now it's no-length time!

Yep. Rotate the rotary over the dome, then follow up with the little oscillating shaver. Unfortunately, Little Shaver's foil has now developed a bald spot from wear, so for the past week or so I've been dry-finishing with a 3-blade disposable razor that came free with some after shave...
