Epson TW6000 noisy when switching channel ?

Hi all,

I just bought a Epson TW6000.

Until now I'm delighted..

but I find it quite strange that the projector makes a strange noise from time to time when the image changes quickly for example.. or if I switch channels.. especially from SD to HD

is that normal ??

I wouldn't know how to explain that noise.. but it's like clac-clac and lasts 1-2 second..

hope I don't have a faulty device :sad:

Thats the projector IRIS working. It will happen when the image quickly changes between dark and bright scenes.

If the noise is excessive, you need to contact Epson.

Tw6000 are notorious for noisy iris. What you are experiencing is normal.
