Well in my case the service from SYW was lousy in the initial phase but when i opposed tooth and nail to them directly and via this forum then they improved a lot, but for how long i do not know. If they pick up the phone or they come online for chat is virtually no meaning, if they are not handling the expensive order query well, or going round the bush, or i would say deep into the bush.
In your case prithvi you have had enough problems with SYW, and the extent was such that you had to cancel your order and they refunded you money very late. About transit problem of a 3 week period being a one-off problem, i strongly doubt. Further that reminds me i do not know how you are recomedning SYW, when you have dealt with them only once, that too mere half way.
There is nothing for them to wonder why a address is being asked, let them operate from every corner of the world, who cares, and it is good that he gave the address, if he is so willing to dispel a mis-trust then he should become a member of this forum. I have known someone who told me he has dealt with SYW several times and if i have any problem, he will help me and talk to them, but when the time came, he never came forward other then a minor token, so what does this mean, is any body's guess.
