not sure if I missed any news here on hifi ,on flac getting an update after so many years.

They say ,no big changes , but audiophiles being very sensitive, it changes the world.
Wanted to check if any one have used this version, and if so any significant differences perceived?

Hopefully, it's just as lossless as it ever was. Lossless can't get more lossless!

At a quick glance at the change log, it looks like stuff for programmers and, maybe, those using the command line. Nothing audible: still lossless

Haven't checked. Maybe they have improved upon the compression (zip) ratio further and thus file size is lowered.
