During the Big Billion day sale Flipkart has announced 6 Nokia TV's with price range from Rs.12,999. The high-end 65 inch tv will cost around Rs.60,000. Great pricing but will the quality hold good as the erstwhile Nokia phones, we need to wait and see.

Point to be noted, Skyworth is the same manufacturer that makes 'Coocaa' brand TVs available in Flipkart.

Nokia is not making the TV, Flipkart is getting the TV from this local manufacturer and branding it as Nokia TV. It will be low quality like the Marq TV which is rebranded and sold by Flipkart. Desperate measure by Nokia to capture some market share. Also some of the TV's all look alike as it seems they just stamp the brand name in front of the TV like TCL, Iffalcon, Sharp etc... All are now Chinese brand including Nokia but they have probably started manufacturing the panels in India also. After sales service will be a big problem as they will not have a service network like LG, Samsung or Sony.
