Nice 1 week of downloading nearly 400 albums. Ended up busting my FUP, but all for a good cause

OMG,1029+190 is fascinating count.. I agree you have done great job Joining hands with the Broadbrand,I had poor connectivity, moreover i was listening the sample music before downloading the track, didn't blindly download it(Reason low memory at disk and Low bandwith with service)I have downloaded about 1029 tracks so far :yahoo:

I got lured by the free offer. Downloaded a few albums and then hated the sound so deleted them already.
Even their CDs sound better !

I now need to organize the music I have managed to download and then listen to them. Maybe improve my musical tastes (which is quite narrow) a bit by listening to music that I would normally bypass.
That is why I didn't bother about the quality because it lets me listen to music that I normally do not listen to. Then improve my musical tastes and then maybe look for CDs or higher quality legal downloads etc.
I hope there are others thinking on the same lines as me.

Some 2000 odd and a colleague did 6000 or so. Yup thinking on the same lines as you, will listen, see artists I like and get the lps!

Who knows the flipkart guys might improve their quality with FLACS, WAV etc and that might be a window for us to buy legal downloads.
Then again physical CDs, LPs, etc also might be the way.
Plenty downloaded ! Now to give the new music a listen and see what I like, time to sort, and this is the difficult bit.
Thanks flipkart, did not get any 128kbps album, and although a lot of the 320 kbps albums leave something to be desired but it was good to download some new music, new kind of music and get to know some previously unknown artists.

This was a fantastic bash.. added some 30 GB of music to my collection, full legal & free.. thanks to Flyte. Only lousy thing was most of them didnt have the 'Album Artiste' column filled out, so had to spend some time doing that.

My total no of songs on flyte shows 5007
That album artist missing is a total pain. Won't be able to import it to my itunes until I add them all manually taking a lot of time (1600 or so songs).
But added a lot of new songs to my collection thanks to the generosity of Flipkart.

Just finished organizing the flyte store on my local HD (i.e listening to each track and organizing in my usual categories )
Looks like I have about 3434 in all in my list. And found a lot many tracks repeated.
Posting this , as I realized and am surprised that I had been repeatedly listening to "Aksar" - by Bhupinder Singh.
Some how this album sounds good where-ever I play.
Also found few sufi tracks in my repeat list!
note: I'm usually in POP,Electronics,Ambient besides others at home , Dance,Trance, Rock and the like on the move. hence the surprise!
