Floor standers for Audiolab 8000A

Hello,

I need advise on buying Floor standing speakers in Delhi. I have Audiolab 8000A amplifier and Cambridge Audio 640 CD player. My budget is around 40,000 and I listen to Western, Indian classical and Jazz.

Try the Dynaudio Audience 52 or 62. Some one in the Forum was selling his Audience 52 for a attractive price. check it out. Audiolab with Dynaudio will a better bet then the other combinations mentioned. just my opinion.

Do u have the room for floorstanders ..if your room is let say less than 180 sq feet. Bookshelves make more sense .
A pair of bookshelves in the same price range vs a budget floorstander ... the Bookshelf would be way better.
But if floorstanders if what you are looking for
Wharfy 9 series (9.5, 9.6), IMO is def better than the 10 series. However they do need sonsiderable amount of power to make them sung .. with lower rated amps. you will miss out on detailing at lower volumes. Unless u generally listen to your music loud.
Take a look at Paradigm Monitor 7 /9 . it falls in your budget .. with a highish sensitivity. your amp should be able to drive it pretty easily .
