The JTR's supposed to be awesome! Congrats! How did you have them ship to you and how much was the shipping? Are you getting the Captivator for the low-end?

I paid 700$ shipping for a pair via Fedex. Duty is obviously separate. I am not getting Captivators but something much much much more beefy

I do live in an apartment but my room is very heavily treated. A few months here and no complaints, with the old CVs or the JTRs and I play 120db +. I got the DIY kit, the price difference between the DIY kit and the manufactured version is huge and I couldn't swing two manufactured ones. It will surely rock the house....which is the plan. Unfortunately the kit is over now so only the manufactured version is available now.

Nah I'm not into organs (but might deserve a demo) but I love electronic music, but music really doesn't reach that low generally, organs excluded. The extension will be best showcased by movies, the sensitivity will make sure the 40Hz-80Hz region will be kicking it.
