With a flip-over stylus, so it plays 78s too?

A collector's item, perhaps, but not a practical choice of record player for today. The low-to-mid-fi of it's day, it probably gouges records as much as plays them.

I bet it's hugely overpriced to catch some newcomer to record playing.

I say... Do not buy, unless it really is just to fill a gap in a collection.

I have the same model. It's a portable one with a built-in amp and speaker. Mine is with a single valve ACDC model and it is labelled "PLAYBOY". May have named it before the magazine gained notoriety

This player belonged to a medical student in Vellore Medical College sometime during mid 60's. Unfortunately, the student died while he was there and it was picked up by his cousin and was with him for several years. This cousin happened to come to my house and seeing my collection of vintage players decided that the 'PLAYBOY' is better suited with it's own kind.
