Dear all,
I am building bookshelf speakers with peerless india drivers.
If anybody has the FR and impedance curves for the following drivers, pl share the same.

1. Peerless 6.5" woofer M16GJ
2. Peerless Tweeter TL26SG

Without the FR curves and impedance curves, I am stuck up in my crossover design.
Regards
Prashant

thanks for the info. I have talked to bibin, getting drivers from him only. but he doesnt have the fr and impedance curves himself

so i am helpless. so guess my crossover will a trial and error... again request anybody who is having f-r and impedance for M16GJ and Impedance for TL26SG, to please come forward and share the curves..

I am not so much worried about the tweeter. Because, around the crossover frequency ( which is atleast 1 to 1.5 octave above Fs) , the impedance of the tweeter will be nearly equal to the rated impedance, give or take 0.5z.
However, when dealing with woofer, most of the drivers will have a gradually increasing impedance with frequency. impedance will be nearly 1.5 to 2 times the rated impedance near the crossover ( woofers will be crossed over at nearly the cone breakup region).

This are the limitations for a two way speakers. if you have three way design, taking rated impedance will not matter much in crossover design.

and also the impedance as that is more critical in woofer crossover...(because it directly related to the inductance value to be used in a first order xover circuit)

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
