It looks like same product is being sold by two persons...

Hi friends I was trying to purchase one amplifier... I surfed the net and got two offers/ads
1. Stereo Integrated Amplifer from Technics 200 watts out put power - Malappuram - Electronics
2. http://www.hifivision.com/sale-owner/15667-technics-stereo-integrated-amplifier-su-a800.html by our own forum member....
Now if one sees carefully (actually not that carefully) we find that the images are same... Now what to do??

What's your point? The hfv member has posted that ad almost 2 years ago and was unable to sell it at that time perhaps ? So either he or someone else is trying to sell it elsewhere!

If you google for images for 'TECHNICS Stereo integrated Amplifier SU-A800'. You will see the same pics. Chances are the seller just picked those.

Actually both are selling the same amplifier, and when I contacted then, they are both saying that the other one has used their pictures.. Now who is having the amplifier is the question... Obviously one of them is telling a lie...
Only part that I am speculating is that images are looking exactly same.. And that someone may be duped.. Nothing more...

No, I have conversed with both of them, and both of them are offering the amplifier, our member at Rs. 8500/-, and the other guy at Rs. 7500/- . One of them is located at Delhi and the other one at some other place. And both confirm that they don't know each other... I have emails from both if them in this regards... With photographs... Identical... And thy vehemently defend the fact that the images taken are by them only...

Srl. No. Is visible on the photographs, so didn't think about that...

But I thought that when both are owning the photographs, then both will own the sl no too... One thing in favor of our forum member is that the images taken and posted by him is old, but since there is no mark (like his HFV username) on his images, doubts creep in... And when purchasing long distance, one is not able to gain confidence if there is an iota of doubt...

Make them use paypal, so when you dont get thd product, you get the money back.

Sometimes people surf internet for pictures and post. However, both claiming the pictures are theirs make them both objects of suspicion.

I don't think it is wise for you to deal with any of them unless you can deal in person.

Such deals shouldn't be too difficult to come by again.

The for sale thread is very old on hifivision but it is still open. You can request the seller to upload another photograph with the hifivision user name and date.

Paypal can't be used within same country. Only cross country transactions are allowed :annoyed:

Ask the modes to change the title.

You can demand the seller to list the product in ebay. This way you can get ebay consumer protection.

The seller is active on the forum. He has logged in early this morning. Ask him to repost the item with the HFV handle.
