Now I am making some arrangement for a Dedicated Home Theater 16x24x9.
For a 7.2 speaker configuration, I have decided to go the DIY way for speaker and subwoofer.

Though I have a SVS PB12NSD at present, it might not be sufficient to pressurise this size of room to a reference level.

I have thought of building Fusion- 8 alchemy or Fusion 12 tempest speakers for LCR.

My question is that, has any body experienced these speakers in this Forum ?
I'll use them with my Pioneer LX57. OR can anybody suggest any other DIY speaker projects to best these speakers for the same Budget or a bit more?

DIY is going to be your best option, far and away. If you're using an AT screen, why not just use 3 Fusion 10's for the front stage and eliminate any possible mid range issues completely... are you going crossover less,
any pick of surrounds?

In terms of scale, dynamics and impact no doubt go for the biggest drivers you can fit in your room and budget. Considering the room size, basically what you should be looking for is a mini version of pro-theater speakers.

what will be the source for components...
http://www.diysoundgroup.com...?

For better directivity (ie pattern control to a lower frequency) 12" woofer is needed. An 8" would lose directivity very soon (ie at a higher frequency) and imaging would suffer. So, I would suggest Fusion 12 for this alone. More output, bass extension and higher sensitivity are added bonus of the 12" driver. The mids and highs would be taken care extremely well by Fusion-12. To complement it with better bass, you could seal the ports of Fusion-12 and go for a multi sub bass solution
