If one need only amp(not hifi),then very easy-
Take amp circuit(available @ electonc shop),mount inside the PCcase,
you can get power connection from SMPS & solder corrosponding wires(input ,output)Vol nob can be added seperately.
You can add 3 amp to get 5.1 output.

So will this case have connection capabilities for connecting passive speakers? I assume it will have since the amplifier is inbuilt.

yeah, its not meant for active speakers ... Its still an alpha release model, AMD is still developing the product.
